Formerly known as the Kingston Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, was established in November 1965 as a voluntary group with Velma Kinsman as President. The Auxiliary honors the following lifetime members: Adah Freeman, Rita Banks, Ruby Charlton, Marjorie Hudgins, Ethel Langille, Judy Hiltz, Pat Conland, Gwen Hudgins, Iola Stronach, Verna Stronach, Joan Parks, Velma Kinsman, Jean Kinsman, and Bula Balcolm.

The mandate of the Auxiliary is to support the Kingston District Fire Department through; fund raising efforts, and to provide logistical services and support to the fire fighters during emergencies. Fund raising is accomplished by providing catering services to the community for special events, Christmas parties, wedding receptions, anniversary parties, etc. at a nominal cost.
